Its Fear based and it redefinesthe effect of salafist ideology which the muslim world refuses to accept in public but accepts in principle.Takling about the Migrant crisis ,my emotions are a bit NOT politically correct especially as we watched a New Years eve harrasement of women in Germany, so soon after Merkels arms were open wide to receive these people.In another breath, I really feel that the hypocrisy of the middle east countries need to be brought to an end.

They must also take some responsibility. We cant have fledgling peace in the UAE and Saudi Arabia while Europe bleeds and this is without considering the Shite-Sunni rofo rofo which am afraid, the muslim world perpetrates for selfish reasons.. When it comes to humanitarian matters Iran and the rest of the arab world must begin to take their own fair share. I believe that Europe has been made the whipping child when all it wanted to do was help and extend an helping hand.

How did these European countries come to this present situation , it was by liberal laws and policies that allowed people in difficult situation have a path to citizenship in their countries. While this was initially a symbiotic one, as it also filled the gaps in fertility rates in europe, i dare say that the difficulty faced by morocans and algerians in integrating in Europe is also as a result of religion and its set of laws which brings it into conflicts with the state. .

While Islam says its is a way of life, the State says, the law operational is sacrosanct. This creates a dual nature for those under Islamic circumstances, The Religion makes it imposible to integrate fully. But instead of leaving a largely secular Europe, the generations of migrants remained in Europe, refusing to integrate, while expecting their hosts to instead recognise their own system.. This hasnt been possible.

It is my view that 2 sets of ordinances cannot exist side by side. Religion, especially Islamic Religion isnt compatible with democracy in many ways and if only people can see it this way, they will allow religion be largely personal and relegated to the background. This is surely the only way out.

I feel the generations of migrants in Europe, have been largely ungrateful to their hosts. Maybe because my experience with migration has been largely from a point of weakness. However, this is true. If the generations now saw how Europe was magnanimous to encourage their great grand parents migrate, escape wars and persecution in Mid east and Africa, they may not treat Europe they way they are now. While i agree that opportunities may be scarce for migrants, it is also their insistence in remaining “nationalistic” or retaining their “Islamic” identity that may be their undoing. with all these confusions suddenly comes salafism or political islam which began fanning the embers of hatred. There is no doubt that perceptions on Islam are negative the world over outside the islamic countries and no matter how peaceful Islamists try to project the religion, it wont get a buy in.

Its sad and discouraging…But you will see a sort of resilience, greater networking of western countries, a probable return of water boarding etc…I believe profiling isnt bad. it could be positive also and this is where i believe the world and its systems can no longer shy away from Profiling will increase and indeed its already with us and we are already profiling..we cant run away from it.
